SETT06 - Free wifi and hectic times
It's been a hectic morning at the SECC for the opening of what seems like the biggest SETT yet. Importantly, the organisers were, in the last minute, able to provide free wifi vouchers to probably all the bloggers and surfers that could want it. Our main challenge now is letting people know about it. AB, John and I are handing out as many as we can. Other good news is that the nice people at Promethean are going to help with the TeachMeet corkage charges.
This morning I was speaking first thing before rushing across the venue to give my Flickr, CommunityWalk and LTS online services spiel. Things have gone well but it's been a hard morning.
The film crew from Musselburgh and Knox in East Lothian arrived this morning and have started their adventures. Some of their footage is on the CommunityWalk map I made for the SETT demo.
Most of what is going on at the moment is over on my Flickr set for SETT. I cannot wait for TeachMeet later on today. Feel free to join us on the Skypecast - use the link on the right sidebar.
Thanks most go to Promethian and LTS for funding the wireless access codes that allow me to blog from SETT
