Get yourself booked in for Scottish Learning Festival

  Armadillo - Glasgow
  Originally uploaded by euan_pics.

This September Glasgow's Armadillo and SECC will once again be the education and innovation hub of Europe (the world? the universe?) for five world class keynotes, eight spotlights, 160 sessions, an exhibition (and yet another TeachMeet07 unconference). Take a look at the Scottish Learning Festival blog for all the details, to download your copy of the programme and book online.

I'll be speaking on my take of how East Lothian has evolved in terms of social media adoption and how other Local Authorities and teachers may approach things in their areas, and on how the latest technology relates to Scottish education's core values.

If you're blogging or Flickring about the event the tag is ScotLearnFest07. This is more important than ever this year as we have some pretty cool live online coverage planned for those unable to make it to the other 159 seminars they wanted to see. And we're not just talking podcasts of the audio. Keep your eyes peeled...
