After weeks of writing about easier and easier ways to geographically tag photos, so that others can see where they've been taken from, Flickr is tonight about to add an automatic mapping function. Hurrah!

It's about time. I use Flickr almost exclusively for geographic photos, amd would very much like an easy way to integrate Flickr, GMaps, and GMaps pedometer (to draw my travel route).

I just started using flickr's geotagging and it seems to work pretty smoothly. The only thing I've noticed that things seem to load a little slower when you are zoomed in on the map more.
