Rebooted and ready for software installation
I've had a cracking time at Reboot but I've been home early to the hotel tonight for the 5am start tomorrow :-(
I'll be blogging more in the coming weeks to cover some of the points that have come up that are maybe relevant for a) me, b) other educators, c) Rebooters who want to see my take on stuff, especially from a learning perspective. Stay tuned.
I'm also going to introduce you all to each other, with some posts on the great people I've met here. This has been a conference where I have genuinely made new friends, and reinforced some great friendships. The theme was 'Human?' and I can safely remove that question mark now. We live in an online world that really is made up of Humans who want to remain thus, even if having a Mac appended to your lap seemed to be your 'carte d'entrée' to the conference.
Professionally, I've got a ton out of this experience, too. Thursday saw me start to make sense of what might be possible round the next corner, Friday gave me an opportunity to show the world what's possible with some kids, some blogs and a whole lot of fun.
It's going to take some time for things to settle from this Reboot of my mind, so the blog might fall a bit quiet for a while...
hi Ewan, it was great to meet you this week. I found your talk really inspiring and refreshing! Look forward to reading more from you in the future and hopefully catching up in the not too distant future :)
