Neil Winton, Scottish edublogger, great writer and highly respected teacher (I know, because I've read his students' Bebo pages) has won the Me In 4 Slides competition. Congrats!
Me In 4 Slides is a great example of a digital autobiography, a story told through, in this case, digital photography, much in the same way as A Story In Five Frames or Six Word Story. dy/dan, the competition curator, picked up on the concept, though, based on the recent news that the Chicago Booth School of Business requires all applicants for it to produce a four slide Powerpoint presentation as part of the entry requirements. You can view the finished entry on Slideshare, below.
How about we ask those giving a seven-minute talk at TeachMeet07 to introduce themselves this way? Would be a turn off or a turn on? It'd certainly make introductions more fun.
Just seen the slideshow and loved it. He has a great way of telling a story, with a beautiful twist halfway through and a last shot looking into the future. How difficult was that to do in just 4 slides? Editor-extraordinaire!

I think it'd be great for the audience, and very challenging (but fun) for the speakers. Go for it!
And yes, Neil's is brilliant.

Neil has set the bar very high, I think it should be optional at teachmeet.

Thanks for the inspiring comments folks! I have, however, decided to 'abdicate' because I misinterpreted the original brief. There's a full explanation on my blog HERE.
